Abortion Recovery Awareness

April is Abortion Recovery Awareness Month in Louisiana!
 On April 1st, 2009, Governor Bobby Jindal proclaimed April as “Abortion Recovery Awareness Month”* in Louisiana.  The purpose of Abortion Recovery Awareness Month is to

  1. encourage and promote the healing opportunities available to women and men grieving from the impact of abortion.
  2. enlighten society at large to the aftermath of abortion on individuals and families.

State Senator A.G. Crowe, on the encouragement of the Louisiana Abortion Recovery Alliance, initiated the Proclamation.

*Abortion Recovery Awareness Month is a project initiated and sponsored by Abortion Recovery InterNational.
